Diagnostic Testing
Our state of the art facilities are equipped with a wide array of diagnostic tools giving our patients accurate and fast results. The following tests are conducted on site:
EKG
EKG’s are performed to check the electrical activity of your heart. It can be used to find the cause of unexplained chest pressure or chest pain. EKGs also allow the doctor to check for heart problems such as heart arrhythmias, heart failure, and heart attacks.
Drug Testing
Primarily done for employment screening purposes, however, can be conducted for any use necessary.
Urinalysis
A urinalysis is used to detect and manage a wide range of disorders, such as urinary tract infections, kidney disease and diabetes. A urinalysis involves checking the appearance, concentration and content of urine. Abnormal urinalysis results may point to a disease or illness.
Blood Testing
During a physical examination, there are several blood tests that are commonly done, depending on your age and your risk factors. These tests tend to be highly individualized, and depend on your occupation, gender, age, ethnicity, and symptoms. Procare’s testing facility can accommodate blood tests required for any medical diagnoses.
Strep Throat, Mono & Flu Testing
Within minutes, we can get your results in-house and design an appropriate cousse of treatment if you test positive for Strep, Mono or the Flu.
STD Testing
If you have been sexually active and have had unprotected sexual encounters, an STD test is the only way to be certain you are STD free. STDs can be contracted by both vaginal and anal intercourse, oral sex, through blood, bodily fluids, and skin.
Tuberculosis Skin Test (PPD)
A tool for screening for tuberculosis and for tuberculosis diagnosis. It is one of the major tuberculin skin tests used around the world, largely replacing multiple-puncture tests such as the tine test.
Ultrasound
An ultrasound scan is a medical test that uses high-frequency sound waves to capture live images from the inside of your body. It's also known as sonography. An ultrasound allows your doctor to see problems with organs, vessels, and tissues without needing to make an incision.

Additional Services
School and Sports Physicals
Whether your child is getting ready for school, sports, or for camp, a physical is the best way to ensure they are healthy and ready for activity. Furthermore, many school districts require a child to first have a physical before engaging in many activities.
Pre-Employment Clearance
Currently, employers in many occupations require a physical prior to starting or continuing employment. Pre-employment clearances consist of a basic checkup as well as a physical exam in order to give the doctor a better picture of your health status.
Pre-Operative Clearance
Most surgeons now require a pre-operative clearance prior to a major surgical procedure. This is simply a doctor’s approval before any sort of operation.
DOT Physical
The objective of a DOT physical is to evaluate whether or not a driver is healthy enough to operate a commercial motor vehicle. A driver with health issues like sleep apnea, diabetes, poor vision and high blood pressure could be hazardous if their medical conditions become unmanageable while driving.
Vaccinations
We offer vaccination services for both children and adults. Procare can provide vaccines for any purpose or need and participates in the VFC (Vaccines for Children) program that offers no fee vaccines through a State program for children from lower income families.
